Venture Philanthropy Fund
Venture Philanthropy Fund is a community of New Yorkers drawn from the non-profit, for-profit and government sectors throughout New York City. VPF member investors are diverse and have experience in a variety of fields including business management, philanthropy, finance and nonprofits. All share a deep commitment to social change – and to having fun along the way. Launched in early 2008 by Heather Rees, Founder and Chair, VPF is led by an all-volunteer team including a Board, an Advisory Council and five committees that directly engage member investors according to their available time, interest and expertise.

New York Community Trust
Through the generosity of New Yorkers, past and present, who set up charitable funds with us, New York Community Trust is able make grants for a huge range of charitable activity so important to the well-being and vitality of our city. We are New York City’s community foundation and are the largest private funder of City nonprofits.  The Trust has helped make donors' charitable dreams come true by funding the nonprofits that make our city a vital and secure place. We ended 2009 with assets of $1.7 billion in nearly 2,000 charitable funds, and made grants totaling $123 million.
