FULL CIRCLE Wins its First Grant!
FULL CIRCLE recently won the annual grant given by Venture Philanthropy Fund, an organization that donates funds and expertise to start-up non-profits. VPF will work closely with FULL CIRCLE over the next year to get us in the best position to help New York City's young people. We are very excited to have been chosen as VPF’s 2010 grantee. Thank you Venture Philanthropy Fund!

Student at Pace Sets the Pace
A FULL CIRCLE graduate from Pace High School (Chinatown) has scored a combined 1300 on the math and reading sections of the SAT. This represents more than a 300-point increase from his diagnostic score and a 710 on the math section. We at FULL CIRCLE want to congratulate him, and thank him for setting the pace for the rest of us! He is now busily applying to college. Keep checking our newsletter to find out where he ends up soaring.

Gearing Up for 2011
With our 2011 program starting right around the corner, we are currently holding info sessions for parents and students, nominating and identifying Sophomore candidates, and administering diagnostic tests to all participants. Our program runs from the beginning of January to the first week of June, with a mini PSAT program in the fall. We are excited to get to work with both the new crop of Sophomores and the returning Juniors. Our program is currently in 5 schools: El Puente in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC iSchool in Lower Manhattan, Pace in Chinatown, Manhattan, and St. Joseph's and Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice, both in downtown Brooklyn.
