Pace University High School
Pace University High School is located in Lower Manhattan. It was founded in 2004 with grants from New Visions for Public Schools with money donated from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The Carnegie Corporation of New York, and George Soros’ Open Society Institute. Pace High School opened its doors to its first class on September 13, 2004. Pace High School is offered a high level of involvement with a national university, being just ten blocks away from Pace University's New York City campus.

Urban Assembly High School for Law and Justice
The Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice (SLJ) in downtown Brooklyn is a new school in Region 8. It will prepare students for college and beyond through a rigorous academic program with an emphasis on law and debate. Students are supported during their academic careers by personalized relationships with teachers and administrators. As part of a four-year sequence, students learn about and experiment with law in their own school, law in their city, state and country, and law around the world and throughout history.

St. Joseph High School Brooklyn
St. Joseph High School was established in 1904 and the school enrolls approximately 300 young women in grades 9 through 12. The school is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood, NY and is staffed by a highly qualified and experienced faculty. The student-to-faculty ratio is 8:1. Our Mission At SJHS we prepare young women to live as responsible persons in whatever path of life they choose.

El Puente Academy for Peace and Justice
El Puente Academy for Peace and Justice was established in 1993 by El Puente in partnership with the New York City Board of Education, (now the NYC Department of Education) as part of a school renewal initiative launched by New Visions for Public Schools (formerly the Fund for New York City Public Education) to improve public education in New York City by providing support to individuals, groups and communities that wanted to create schools of their own. The Academy reflects El Puente’s vision of education emerging from the community.
